I work with leaders to help them to understand what they are good at and love doing, and how to bring this into their role. Weaknesses do need to be managed, however I believe that if we put most of our energy into weaknesses, we will achieve average performance at best. I therefore take a positive, strengths-based approach.
My coaching will, at times, take people outside their comfort zone. This is because I believe that people are more likely to learn, grow and perform if they stretch themselves beyond what is familiar and comfortable. My clients describe me as a great listener. They tell me that I create a safe and calm, but challenging, ‘thinking space’ that is essential for quality decisions and effective strategic thinking.
I measure the success of my coaching by the impact that the leader has in the business. ‘Impact’ can take a number of forms such as:

WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE?
This is the structure of a typical coaching programme:
‘Chemistry’ meeting: for us to decide whether we want to work together
3 way with your manager/sponsor to gain agreement on the organisational outcomes
Optional completion of ‘Strengthscope’ profiling tool to review in a coaching session
6 x 2 hour coaching sessions over 6-8 months (including a review of progress at the halfway point)
Written Evaluation – you and your sponsor
I believe that great leadership starts with bringing the whole person to the leadership role.When leaders are more conscious of the kind of leader they are and how they want to lead, others are more willing to trust and to follow them, especially in a turbulent or changing environment.
